When I feel uneasy of making a move, I try to remind myself of the banal truth, “we live this moment once and for all.”
We regret for what we didn’t do. We also regret for some of what we did.
The difference is this.
We learn from what we did. But we don’t learn from what we didn’t do.
So, if you aren’t sure whether you should do something or not, just do it and regret if you should.
My hotel roommate’s banality finally paid off, huh? Banality teaches something. :p
